Founder Information

Mr Lau Ngie Hua, the founder of Daesim Group was once a country boy from a family of 7 members. He is the second in the family. He and his siblings had to work in rubber tapping fields and farming during their school breaks to support the family.

After completed his education, he began his first career as trainee in a printing factory for above a year. Later, he went to Indonesia and work as a store keeper. Nine months later, he returned to Sarawak and started working in Harrison Trading Company as a storekeeper.

He married Madam Wong at the age of 23. He began his new career as sales assistant in a supermarket during the day time and he operated his hawker business at "Pasar Malam" during the evening. Therefore, the couple ventured into tailoring business.
